Web Interface
You can manage your downloads using a web browser instead of LottaNZB. This feature is provided by SABnzbd, the application that LottaNZB is built upon. This web interface is useful in situations like the following:
-
You want to use an advanced feature offered by the web interface that is not yet available in LottaNZB. In addition, this lets you customize the downloading process in more detail.
-
You want to remotely manage downloads using a device that does not run LottaNZB, such as a computer running an operating system other than Linux or a smartphone.
Information on how to use the web interface can be found in SABnzbd’s Wiki.
Opening the Web Interface
You can open the web interface by selecting File ▸ Open Web Interface.
Alternatively, you may also directly enter the URL of the web interface into your browser. When downloading to the same computer, that URL is http://localhost:8080/. When managing the downloads of another computer, replace localhost with the name or IP address of that computer.
The web interface of another computer can only be opened if it allows remote access.
If you provided a username and a password when allowing the remote access, you will be asked to enter them.
When using the web interface frequently, you may want to create a bookmark in your web browser, giving you quick access to it.
